What we do:
Professional Career Coaching specializing in the media industry including all aspects of television, broadcasting, cable, new media, marketing, social media, creative, advertising, public relations and journalism. What makes us different from others is that all our coaches are seasoned pros. We are not psychologists, life coaches or therapists. What we will teach you comes from many, many years of "real world industry" experience from the point of view of a hiring manager, job seeker and a recruiter. You will learn the tricks of getting recruiters attention from a recruiters and hiring managers’ point of view. All coaches are certified on our methodologies and follow a specific curriculum.
Our services include; resume review and learning how to target your resume for a specific job, industry or career path guidance, developing a marketing plan, how to work the internet, and interviewing skills. Clients are given weekly assignments to complete. Our clients are experienced professionals as well as students or recent college graduates. Together we'll develop a game plan customized to your career goals, your assets and skills. Most clients require 4 to 5 one-on-one or video conference meetings with their assigned coach. We usually meet clients once a week and may exchange phone calls or emails as necessary between meetings. Coaches are flexible and will travel to a mutually convenient location for meetings. We work around your schedule.
Rates are set on a sliding scale depending on your career level and needs. We offer payment plans. Fees can be paid via PayPal. Fees can be tax deductible for unemployed clients. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required prior to first meeting. Clients within the NY Tri-State area can arrange in-person meetings. Out of state clients need to have video conferencing capabilities.
