Color bars is a professional and social network geared to people of color who work in the media, entertainment and communications arenas. It hosts networking events, panel discussions, informational lectures, and mentoring programs.
Networking events are held every two months, offering opportunities to build relationships and contacts, share information and strengthen confidence.

As part of its panel discussion program, Color bars invites industry leaders of varied backgrounds to lend advice and offer unique perspectives on topics such as career development and the state of the industry.

The 6 month mentoring program pairs young professionals and mentors from the media, entertainment and communication industries. Both mentor and mentees have an opportunity to expand their leadership, interpersonal and professional skills through this relationship.
